Be a Vector was born from an idea of Eva Veronesi to improve preparedness in the prevention and control of emerging diseases with a particular focus on vector-borne diseases, which are caused by the bite of insects (vectors) affecting both public and animal health.
Our aim is to provide you with in-depth knowledge on laboratory and field methodologies and guidelines related to vector surveillance, best practices in insects control management, species identification, pathogen detection, working under biosafety containment with risk group 2 and 3 pathogens, and many others.
Be vector can organize for you workshops, trainings, and professional support through advanced technologies and available tools.
We also help you connect with other existing networks of experts, governmental and non-governmental organizations, research institutes, universities, and others dealing with the prevention of emerging diseases to create synergies.
